The Samsung CLX-3186FN is a wonderful all-in-one color laser unit for homes and small offices needing a lot of prints monthly. The monthly duty cycle is around 20,000 pages. The only problem with it, though, is that its speeds don't keep up with its other abilities. When printing or copying in black-and-white only 16 pages per minute can be produced. Plan on using color too? Well, plan on being more patient because the speeds for color are even slower than that at 4 pages per minute.ÊThe upside to the slow speeds, though, is the high quality produced. The four Samsung CLX-3186FN toner cartridges used inside help create resolutions of 2400x600 dpi when printing. With resolutions like that, graphics and text alike will look remarkable. The four toners are cyan, magenta, yellow and black, and each one must be used for the unit to print correctly.
