Brother MFC-8840

The Brother MFC-8840 is a multifunction monochrome laser printer designed for the small or medium office environment. It provides excellent integration of multiple features, fast printing speeds, and solid print quality is a relatively compact design. The Brother MFC-8840 can print, scan, copy, and fax. Each function is very well designed, and intuitive to use, but what is very impressive is the way Brother integrates each function, and seems to think of every possible scenario for how users might want to work. Users can also send faxes directly from a computer, without having to walk up to the machine. Although the MFC-8840 is a monochrome printer, the machine can scan in full-color, up to 24-bit color depth. The MFC-8840 is a fairly compact machine, although its scanning unit makes it larger than a dedicated laser printer. The unit measures 18.8 inches by 21.3 inches by 17.8 inches (HWD), and weighs around 40 pounds. Given its wide array of features, it is surprising how compact it is.
